Kodak Hires Lawyers, Weighing Bankruptcy Filing



9/30/2011 (NYTimes) Eastman Kodak, the troubled camera maker, is considering a possible filing for bankruptcy, according to a person briefed on the matter.
The company has also hired law firm Jones Day to assist on a possible restructuring, Kodak confirmed.
Kodak, which has reported only one full year of profit since 2004, is weighing its options as it tries to shore up its financials and sell a collection of patents. Continued
